It is a belief of mine that you can’t just talk, you have to practice what you preach. To that end, I do my best to be an agent of change, involved with or leading teams that are doing important work.

Volusia County Schools Book Review Committee, February 2023
Reviewing books featuring heart wrenching stories of BIPOC and LGBTQ communities that have been pulled from shelves in hopes of keeping diverse voices in school libraries.

Daytona Pride, August 2022-present
Helping found inclusive space for community connection, advocacy, and service for our underserved LGBTQIA+ community.

Clergy Cohort Convener, August 2020- present
Created, facilitated, and developed content for cohorts of young clergy women, new worshipping community pastors, and local traditional church pastors to meet regularly for support.

1001 Coaches Network, 2018-present
Attended trainings to become a coach for current and future New Worshiping Community leaders.

1001 National Director Search Committee, 2017-2018
Served on the committee to select the next director through an in depth interview process.

Commission on Homelessness, 2017-2018
Marketing Chairwoman organizing, recruiting for and executing a marketing campaign for the COH.

1001 New Worshipping Community Annual Conference Planning Team, 2017
Assisted in the planning and execution of the 1001 National Conference with an emphasis on dynamic worship.

Columbia Theological Seminary Student Coordinating Council, 2005 – 2006
Served as President of the junior class by creating fundraisers and organizing other class activities.

Columbia Theological Seminary Mission Team, 2005 – 2006
Organized and lead a team of 7 adults to D’Iberville, MS for a 5-day trip to aid in Katrina relief.

Winter Park Presbyterian Mission Team, 1996 – 2005
Helped plan and organize groups of up to 25 team members’ travel and work on foreign and domestic mission trips.

Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority, August 1999 – May 2003
As Sisterhood Chair, coordinated relationship-building events and trips for all 200 sisters while working under a budget.
